Presented on behalf of the United States Army, Spirit of America is one of the Army's largest community outreach programs and is designed to increase awareness of the Army's rich heritage and showcase its premier ceremonial units. The history of the nation will come to life through historical reenactments, musical entertainment and precision military drill.
Historical accounts, taken directly from Soldiers’ letters and diaries, provide the story line for this powerful drama, designed to entertain while presenting the history and development of the U.S. Army from its origins through the wars, conflicts and missions that have molded the Army and the nation.
Spirit of America has concluded all performances for 2014. More than 46,000 people attended the 12 shows in Boston, Mass., Albany, N.Y., and Hershey, Pa.
The U.S. Army Military District of Washington, extends our sincerest appreciation to all those supporters who attended a show this year. Information about the 2015 show schedule will be announced in Spring 2015 on this website and on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/ARMYSPIRIT
